MEET THE EDITOR

Hi, I’m Katie, grammar enthusiast, avid romance reader, and professional fiction editor. I live in the Pacific Northwest with my dog, Henry, and an endless collection of books! After working for twelve years as a behavioral therapist for children and young adults diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, I decided it was time to move forward to a new adventure and passion. I took a leap of faith and expanded on my prior education by taking courses through the EFA and CIEP in every aspect of fiction editing, working with indie authors, and running a freelance business. I continue to take refresher courses through Club Ed and the EFA. In 2023, I officially launched Between the Covers Editorial, and I am now living my dream, editing romance for indie authors!
